About & citation¶
Why this site exists¶
Long model runs and multi-decade analyses are easily derailed when a reanalysis suddenly stops updating or a download service changes. Those announcements are scattered across agency forums, news pages and mailing lists, and they are easy to miss.
This site brings three things together:
- Where and how to get the data — official providers, whether an account is needed, example code
- What to put in your paper — dataset DOIs, reference papers, acknowledgement wording
- Whether it is usable right now — end of updates, service migrations, quality issues, successor plans
Principles¶
- Every fact is checked against the official source, and every notice links to the original announcement.
- We only publish what we could confirm on official pages, and we correct entries when things change.
- Dataset names, variable names, DOIs and code are kept exactly as the providers write them.
- We do not store or redistribute any data.

Disclaimer¶
This is not an official source
The Korean Climate Data Navigator is an unofficial project run by an individual and does not represent the views of the maintainer's employer or of any data provider. All information reflects the date it was checked and may change — always re-check DOIs, citation formats, periods and variable definitions against the official sources before using them in a paper or report.
- Agency names and links are given to help you find the data; they do not imply any partnership or endorsement.
- The instantaneous / mean / accumulated labels and time-stamp conventions are based on official documentation, but documents sometimes disagree or are silent. Where that happens, a note is attached to the variable.
- If you find an error, please use Report an error at the bottom of the page.
